Aegon is an approximately 1 year old petite saluki lurcher cross of about 13kg.
Aegon is a sweet, funny chap who is people, dog and cat friendly.
He came to us with a broken ulna and radius in his front leg which he has had surgery to repair. He has been on crate rest for the last 4 weeks. He will be in crate rest in foster for at least another two weeks, possibly longer. When his leg is fully healed, he will be looking for his own home.
He has been a wonderful patient and a pleasure to have.
He loves chewing on and playing with toys. He loves food and is very food motivated (though unfortunately has a sensitive tummy).
He is crate trained and walks well on the lead. He would benefit from on going training in his forever home.
Aegon is a medium energy dog who will need daily walks and / or off lead runs in a secure area or garden. A gentle reintroduction to exercise will be needed to begin with.
As he’s still young, he would do best in a home where he won’t be alone for long hours. Another canine pal would be a plus.
Aegon will be fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered before he’s adopted.
