Meet Cruz, an approximately 1 year old male lurcher. He came to us last month from the pound, emaciated, badly bruised and with wounds all over his frail body.. We believe he was hit by a car.
He was very shut down, ran from us and avoided eye contact. He’s a wonderful example of how resilient and forgiving dogs are.. He’s now a loving, waggy tailed boy who loves his rubs and attention from humans he trusts.
Cruz loves people who are gentle and quite around him. He prefers to approach rather than be approached, but is gaining confidence by the day.
He is fantastic with other dogs, big and small, and loves to play. He’s is a medium energy boy and would love a daily walk or a run in a big garden.
Cruz is crate trained, house trained, lead trained and is fine when his humans are out for a few hours, once he has canine company. He’s a very gentle boy so would be suitable to be rehomed with sensible older children who won’t frighten him.
Cruz has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
