Beautiful Fiadh along with some of her extended family of siblings etc will be available for rehoming in a few weeks, please read The full post before applying to adopt.
Fiadh was one of a group of collies left behind when their elderly owner passed away, they have had very little human interaction throughout their lives so far, and as a result will require very patient homes.
Fiadh absolutely adores other dogs, especially playful ones, this is where she feels most comfortable. She is housetrained, but will require alot more training on the lead. She is fearful of loud noises, so a busy built up area is not for her at the moment. She enjoys late night walks, when there is less people around, she is not familiar with traffic, so it terrifies her at the moment.
Fiadh will be ready for rehoming in the coming months but we would like to start taking applications now, as whoever is lucky enough to get to adopt her, will need to meet her a few times to gain her trust before she leaves. (Fiadh is based in Portarlington area)
She is the most loyal and affectionate little dog, once she builds that bond, and whatever work you put in with her, you will receive back in abundance. Fiadh is so so smart and will learn quickly. She will need a fully secure garden, she doesn’t mind kids once they give her the space to acclimatise, we have no idea what she is like with cats.
