lucy

When we stepped in to save Lucy age 11 from being put to sleep (due to the current housing crisis), we thought we were getting an elderly frail dog.

To our delight, we met an energetic older lady with tonnes of love. 😊 Lucy got all vet works done straight away. She got spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dental work, lumps removed, and assessment from orthopaedic.

Now, she is ready to start her new and better life with some loving family. She loves people. She is very good with other dogs that she meets on her walks. At home, she would be good with some calm and medium to large breed dog. She can be reactive to small breeds.

Her new home will need to fulfil a few requirements, but they are perfectly reasonable. ☺️ Ideally, it would be a Bungalow (no staicase) due to her hip dysplasia, with some garden as she is not a big walker. She likes the walks but cannot go far, so if you like to chill at home and not too keen on the hiking trips, she is your type of dog. 🤪

Also, she will have to keep her slim body for the health of her hips. She might have to receive the monthly injection to support her joints, but it is up to her vets and her future assessment.
